Introducing the Green Worldview; the challenges in transforming Philippine society

December 27, 2007 by dgsimbulanjr

Mabuhay !  I have started this blog as part of contributing to the efforts for social transformation. As a medical school teacher, and a yoga teacher, I am dedicating my efforts to working with people to develop tools and concrete programs to empower ourselves in the long, continuing struggle to bring about change NOW in our own lives and expanding our own ranks, building a critical mass to be of significant impact in the continuing dialogue.

For those who wish to know about how we can apply the latest green synthesis of socio-political and philosophical thought to the problems facing Philippine society, I invite you to read the following document  Society, Ecology and Transformation: a program for transforming Philippine society based on the Green worldview, also known as SET first published in 1997 by the Philippine Greens.  Our secretary general Roberto Verzola gives a short introduction  in his blog.

My blog will also focus on latest trends and advances in mind/body medicine and applications of mind/body fitness training, including hatha yoga, in helping ourselves become effective catalysts for change.

 NAMASTE.

DANTE G. SIMBULAN, JR.
